S88 retro with 16 inputs for infrareds

S88 protocol retromodule with 16 inputs for infrared sensors, which allow detecting infrared signals emitted by digital DC-Car vehicles, equipped with an XT infrared signal emitter, which is equipped on the underside of the vehicle.

The use of 6mm IR sensors is preferably recommended, as they are more sensitive, although it's also possible to use 0603 phototransistors that are not as sensitive. Their smaller size allows them to be more camouflaged, but it is also somewhat more complicated to work with them.

The use of retromodules allows to inform the computer control software of which point of the road is being used by a vehicle, in this way it is possible to track the passage of vehicles, allowing to automate routes, detours, stops, etc...
