The L1 module performs a sequence of 5 lights with the following pattern: Left sweep, right sweep and 2 flashes of all lights.

The L4 module performs the same pattern, but with one single flashing at the end instead of two.

The L2 module performs the same pattern, but without flashing at the end.

The anodes (positive poles) of all LEDs are connected to each other and connected to the output + of the DC-Car decoder voltage transformer.

The module is controlled by any light output (in this example, light 2, which has been inverted with CV61-1), or directly by a positive signal.

The resistance values of each led are between 330 ohms and 470 ohms, depending on the desired brightness.
